In January 2021, NCSEP launched one of its major projects to help raise money for school supplies. The project, a Photography Contest, was made to gather photographers from all over North Carolina and allow them to display their photography skills by entering different categories in the contest. There were three categories for which the photographers could enter: still life, portrait, and wildlife/landscape. After we had several photographers enter the contest, for $15, we let our attendees, who paid $4, judge the photographs that were submitted. NCSEP is proud to announce the three winners of the contest! The winners were: Lucas Ciscato, for the still life category, and Daniel J. Biner, for the wildlife/nature category. Through these individuals, and multiple other photographers and attendees who entered the contest, NCSEP was able to raise $470. With this money, NCSEP bought various school supplies to give to underfunded schools in North Carolina. For example, through the help of Ms.Chandler, NCSEP donated the supplies to schools in Forsyth/Wake county and Educator Warehouse. Based on the accomplishments made this month, NCSEP continues to grow bigger and bigger! We are so proud to find ways to give back to our community, and we hope that you guys will join us on our adventure.
